Hurghada is a beach town, but it is also a base. The temples and tombs that most people picture when they think of Egypt are within reach of a long day, and a good guide is the difference between walking past a wall of hieroglyphs and understanding what it says. Our cultural tours run with English and German speaking guides who know the sites properly, not a script.
These are long days and we will tell you so honestly — an early start, real distance covered, and worth every hour. Hotel pickup and drop-off is included, as is the guide and the entry to the sites on the itinerary. They are full days. Depending on the destination, pickup can be very early in the morning and you are back at the hotel in the evening. We would rather be straight with you about that than have you find out at 4am. If a long day does not suit your group, tell us and we will suggest something shorter.
Yes. Our guides speak German and English, and you can write to us on WhatsApp in either language. For the cultural sites this matters more than on any other trip — the whole value of the day is in what the guide can explain to you.
Entry to the sites on the itinerary is included, along with hotel transfers and the guide. Anything optional beyond that — extra tombs, photography permits inside certain chambers — is made clear before you book, not sprung on you at the gate.
